Many of the roles in this team are specialist trades people such electricians and plumbers, but there are other vital roles too such as managers, support staff and planners.
A lot of the roles in this service involve working in people’s homes, schools, civic and community buildings and so it’s important you are kind, compassionate and patient as well as having excellent workmanship.

Our colleagues say:
Claire, Business Support Team Leader
“I was welcomed into my team and the service with open arms and I’m proud of how we support each other both at work and in our personal lives. I’m currently being supported through an apprenticeship so I can continue my career development within the council. I couldn’t imagine working for another company now.”
Mick, General Operative
“I’m proud to be an employee at Leeds City Council. I work with a range of services across the council and get to see the difference that I and everyone else within the organisation makes to the residents of Leeds.”
