We are a successful Multi Academy Trust with a family of five schools, four Primary Academy schools, and one Secondary school & Sixth Form, in the South Leeds area. As Trust Estates Manager, you will be an essential member of the team, responsible for:

  • Working alongside the Trust and Academy Build team, DfE and industry leading contractors, to support the delivery of our brand-new secondary school building at Woodkirk Academy
  • Managing the handover of two primary schools from PFI arrangements into Trust management, working with the PFI expiry team to ensure a smooth & successful transition
  • Championing strategic estates improvements across the Trust, maximising impact through Schools Condition Allocation (SCA) funding.

Purpose of the Role

The Trust Estates Manager provides professional leadership and operational management for the Leodis Academies Trust’s estate. Reporting to the CFOO and serving as an integral member of the Trust Central Team, the postholder is responsible for the development and implementation of the strategic estates plan. The postholder will play a leading role in the management of capital projects and facilities management contract procurement in accordance with statutory, regulatory and best practice estates, facilities, health and safety and compliance standards. The postholder will oversee Trust sites to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment, conductive to high quality learning.

This is a key role that would suit someone with strong project management, communication and service management skills, and someone who has the drive to deliver excellent customer service to our Academies, staff and pupils.
