Harewood C of E Primary School is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our small team.
The role is to support classroom learning in small groups or 1:1 as required. There will also be inside or outside lunch cover duties. This is a varied role that will require flexibility and a positive attitude.
Starting in September 2025, this is a part-time role working term time only.
We are looking to appoint someone to work 3 mornings a week, ideally Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 8.40am until 1.00pm (There may be some flexibility in this for the right candidate)
The position will initially be for a year with a probationary period, but we would be looking to extend beyond the year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed Teaching Assistant to make a difference to pupil’s experience of education in our small village school with a diverse group of pupils.
Ideally applicants should have:
* Recent experience working with Primary School aged children.
* Have a high expectation for achievement and behaviour.
* GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
* Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training for development in the post.
* An ability to work flexibly and use their own skills and initiative to enhance learning.

You will not routinely be expected to attend school Teacher Training Days but may be invited to do so where the training is relevant to the role.
