Thank you for your interest in working at Pudsey Bolton Royd Primary School.  We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant, who enjoys supporting children in a mainstream setting.  The post will be supporting a child in lower Key Stage 2.

The hours for this post are 32.5 hours per week, term time only.  These hours will be Monday – Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm.   This is initially a temporary role linked to funding with the possibility of being made permanent in the future.  School would be open to the possibility of part-time or flexible working for the right candidate.

This is open to qualified or non-qualified Teaching Assistant ideally with experience of working with SEND children. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who will:

• Support the needs of individual children within the classroom
• Have high expectations within the classroom setting through commitment to raising the standard of learning for all pupils
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards all aspects of their work
• Have a good knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Work well as part of a team

The right candidate will have:

• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

• A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults.
• The ability to use relevant technology/equipment.
• A can-do, enthusiastic attitude.
• A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school.
