The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding, committed team.

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Will be committed to safeguarding the children in our care and will adhere to our rigorous safeguarding and child protection policy and procedure and health and safety policy and procedure at all times.
  • A practicing Catholic or committed to sustaining the strong Catholic Ethos of the school.
  • Able to demonstrate high levels of English and Maths skills to support our pupils in EYFS/KS1.
  • Creative and highly motivated, with passion and patience for providing quality learning experiences.
  • Emotionally intelligent, placing value on developing the whole child.
  • Able to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues and governors.
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Has a willingness to be part of the community of St Joseph’s.
