We are excited to announce the opening of Elevate, a brand-new Pivot provision designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for academically able learners with social, communication and interaction difficulties. As we grow our creative and pioneering team, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Subject Specialist Teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality education tailored to the needs of neurodiverse learners.
About Us
Leeds Pivot are an independent special school operating over four sites in very close proximity. Our curriculum offer is focused on developing the whole learner, working with their interests to engage them in education in order for them to feel successful and to take positive steps in their journey to adulthood and beyond. We have a variety of offers and pathways to meet the needs for learners with Autism, complex social interaction needs, emotional challenges and other learning needs.
Elevate (Opens September 25) is committed to fostering a learning environment where academically able learners can thrive, reach their full potential and develop a deep love for learning. Our innovative approach combines specialist teaching strategies, small class sizes, and a highly supportive environment to ensure every learner excels both academically and socially.
The Role
We are looking for highly skilled and passionate subject specialists to teach to GCSE level in:
- English (Language and Literature)
- History and Citizenship
- Mathematics and IT
You will play a key role in shaping our curriculum and adapting your subject area to best support the learning styles of our learners. This is a unique opportunity to work in a school where innovation, creativity, and inclusivity are at the heart of everything we do.
