The Pennington Centre, an inclusive alternative provision, is seeking to appoint an adaptable and resilient Maths and Science Teacher to join our small, supportive team. Our pupils present with diverse and complex needs, requiring creative, therapeutic approaches that complement the national core curriculum and aim to achieve GCSE passes.

You'll be a qualified Maths or Science specialist, with the confidence and willingness to teach both subjects at KS3 and KS4 level.  We're looking for someone who can make both subjects come alive.  We recognise you may have more experience with one subject but a passion for both is essential. At Pennington Centre, your ability to build trust, show consistency and see the person behind the behaviour is just as important as your subject knowledge. Many of our students have experienced educational breakdown or trauma. You'll be the teacher who helps them believe in themselves again – and that starts with authentic, caring relationships and a willingness to start each day afresh.
