Teacher (E7494) - Valley View Community Primary School

Do you want to be a part of a school where “pupils flourish”?  (Ofsted October 2024.) Do you want to work in a school which perfectly balances nurture, warmth and strong relationships alongside high expectations in pupil behaviour and excellent teaching and learning? If so, Valley View could be your perfect match!

We would welcome applications from qualified teachers who can demonstrate excellent teaching and learning skills, a commitment to our team and collaborative working; furthermore, your own principles should align closely with our core values and ethos. In addition, we expect that the successful candidate will bring to our school, a warm nurturing personality and an understanding of families and children in our community. Our school enjoys a very strong team atmosphere and is an extremely happy place to work and learn.

The vacancy is temporary for one year. At present there is some flexibility about which year group the successful candidate will work in. It would be helpful to indicate in your application the year groups you have experienced and would feel able to teach. ECTs are very welcome to apply, as are experienced teachers.

We have high expectations of all staff and would advise all potential candidates that they should make contact with the school by email or telephone so that you are well aware of our application procedure. The school is committed to keeping children safe and will stringently follow procedures to endorse this.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged and we would request that appointments are made through the school office on 0113 255 4972 or by email at office@valleyviewschool.org.uk.

Closing date for applicants: Friday 6th June at 12 noon.
