Two unique opportunities have arisen for a full time and part time Specialist Secondary Maths Teacher to be part of the Medical Needs Teaching Service. If you are an inspirational Teacher of Maths at KS3/4 and have the ability to deliver outstanding learning you might be the person we are looking for. We are welcoming full time and part time applications.
We are seeking to appoint an individual with a vision and drive for education, who is motivated to develop our Maths offer; an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality education to children and young people with medical needs.
The successful candidate will be:
- an experienced, enthusiastic and creative teacher of Maths
- able to work constructively with other professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- able to contribute to the MNTS whole service vision and values
The Medical Needs Teaching Service (MNTS) is a service commissioned by Leeds Local Authority through a Service Level Agreement with the East Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre. The MNTS delivers outstanding learning in four settings across Leeds to children and young people who cannot attend school because of health needs. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All candidates that are successfully selected for an interview will be required to complete a self-disclosure form. Appointments will be to the Medical Needs Teaching Service which is part of the East SILC and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and reference check.
