The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible Site Superintendent/Caretaker to join an outstanding, committed team.
27.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
7.00am to 9.30am (to open school and complete daily checks) 12.5 hours
3.00pm to 6.00pm (to close, lock and secure school site) 15 hours
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Will be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care and will adhere to our rigorous Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy and procedure, our Health and Safety policy and procedures at all times
- Is sympathetic to the Catholic ethos of the school
- Has an ability to work as part of the team
- Has an ability to be flexible and adaptable responding to duty delegation
- Is self-motivated to work to the many varied responsibilities and specific responsibilities around general maintenance and health and safety
- Can provide maintenance and security services on the school site and premises
- Will ensure that the internal and external school facilities are available, fully functional and health and safety compliant
- Will work in close partnership with the Headteacher and Senior Leaders
- Has a willingness to be a part of the community of St Joseph’s
