We are seeking to appoint an experienced and committed individual to join our school’s office team as the Senior Administrator with financial responsibility. The school office is an integral part of the school. It is a very busy place and is often the first point of contact for parents, prospective parents and other visitors whether by telephone, email or in person. This high-profile environment requires staff to be professional, calm, helpful and cheerful in their dealings with parents, children, staff and visitors. You will therefore enjoy working as part of a dedicated team to provide exceptional service to all of our school stakeholders and have outstanding interpersonal skills.
Experience in providing financial management and administrative support within a school setting would be highly desirable as would the drive and initiative to find new, innovative ways of working to move our school office forward.
The successful candidate will:
- Be committed to the provision of high-quality administrative support for our whole school community
- Have experience in an administration role, including dealing with a wide range of complex queries and a sound knowledge of administrative and financial processes and procedures
- Have strong IT skills and be able to learn new systems
- Be able to form positive and respectful relationships with children, staff and families
- Be able to work effectively with colleagues within the Office team and as part of the wider school team
- Manage workload to prioritise tasks appropriately to meet school and external deadlines
- Have excellent communication, inter-personal and administrative skills and a calm and professional approach
- Have a sense of fun, enthusiasm, initiative and drive
- Be able to demonstrate a commitment to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and their families
