We are looking to appoint a Science Technician who is flexible in approach, reliable, well organised and enjoy variety in their role, to provide general support to staff and pupils within the Science Faculty.

The successful applicant will not only provide practical support but will be confident in the use of ICT systems and software for the purposes of stock control, production of teaching resources and general administrative work.
This role is crucial to ensuring our pupils’ hard work is supported by effective support systems, coupled with an understanding of maximising achievement. You must be able to relate well to pupils, staff and parents and maintain confidentiality. A good level of literacy, numeracy and ICT is essential, as is patience, a sense of humour and an ability to relate positively to young people. Previous experience of working with pupils in the 11-16 age range would be an advantage.
We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school that has outstanding facilities and a state of the art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
