School Lettings Coordinator
All year-round post – 10hrs per week (5.30pm-7.30pm)
Pay: B1 (SCP1-6)
Note: There will be a requirement for you to work additional hours in the evenings and weekends to facilitate any future bookings/ lettings

Temporary leading to Permanent for the right candidate.

We are looking for a School lettings coordinator to join our school team.

You will be responsible for: 

  • To represent Southroyd Primary School during community lettings, displaying a high level of responsibility, reliability, organizational and communication skills.
  • To provide cleaning of letting areas and the school Cabin as required.
  • To facilitate lettings during evenings, weekends and school holiday periods. A flexible approach to working hours is therefore essential.

Main responsibilities:

  • To retain keys for the facility and maintain the security of the premises and equipment during lettings.
  • Opening the premises prior to scheduled booking and securing the site at the end of the session.
  • Ensuring areas relevant to the letting area are set up prior to start of the session as requested and cleared away afterwards, reporting any issues or faults with equipment or facilities as required.
  • To maintain cleanliness of letting areas (e.g. toilets/ changing spaces) ensuring all areas are left tidy and presentable at all times.
  • Lifting, moving and handling equipment as required.
  • Carry out maintenance on equipment as necessary.
  • Managing your own time effectively to support all bookings at the agreed times.
  • Ensuring the site access is given to authorized hires only, challenging trespassers as necessary.
  • Providing first aid equipment in the event of an accident.
  • Delivering excellent customer service.
  • Resolving  customer queries or complaints, escalating as appropriate.
  • Compliance with school policies (especially child protection and safeguarding policies)

Undertaking any other duties as may be reasonably requested within the competence of the post holder.
