A fantastic opportunity has arisen in our school for an enthusiastic School Business Manager to join our staffing team. At Quarry Mount Primary School we want our children to become respectful, resilient and responsible learners in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment, where a strong sense of belonging and identity in the school and wider community is valued. We are looking for someone to join our team who can translate their experience across our school. Quarry Mount Primary is located in inner city Leeds. We believe strongly in providing a breadth of opportunity for all our pupils to ensure their future success.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and Governors to ensure the effective management of finance, HR, premises, health and safety, and administrative systems.

We would like to appoint a School Business Manage who:

  • Is committed to safeguarding the children in our care and adheres to safeguarding policy and procedures
  • Has experience in finance management and business management (ideally within an education setting)
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Has recent experience and knowledge of working with Microsoft Office packages, Arbor and SIMS FMS
  • Has experience of HR management and knowledge of employment practices
  • Has the ability to work as part of a team and being flexible and adaptable
  • Has experience completing statutory returns
  • Has experience of school admissions processes
  • Willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training for development in the post. Evidence of CPD.
