Rothwell Victoria Junior School is a ‘Good’ school in South Leeds.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection (May 2023) states:

We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Lead

We are seeking a dynamic and effective Early Years Teacher as we look to extend our age range from September 2025. The Governors of our friendly and inclusive school are seeking a committed, experienced and enthusiastic teacher with leadership experience to lead and manage our brand-new Reception Class. This is a unique and exciting opportunity, giving the right candidate the chance to design, build and establish a completely new provision.

Our children and local community are looking for someone who is:

  • An outstanding child centred Early Years teacher with high expectations of pupil’s behaviour and attainment. 
  • A committed teacher with the vision, passion and drive to provide the very best care and education for our pupils.
  • Able to lead a team
  • Able to manage and monitor planning and assessment effectively in order to raise standards.
  • Inspirational and able to challenge and motivate both staff and pupils.
  • An excellent communicator.
  • Able to work effectively as a member of the Leadership Team.
  • Willing to be fully involved in the life of the school.
