We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, impactful and highly motivated Programme Leader of Mathematics to drive this important subject area of school. This is an excellent opportunity to lead within a specialist team, developing the curriculum offer and pedagogy of the team to secure ongoing strong progress for our students, as well as furthering the development of SMSC, values, citizenship and PSHE amongst students. 

The faculty is looking for:   

  • A well-qualified graduate with at least three years teaching experience, able to teach up to and including KS5. The ability to teach at A-level Further Mathematics would be desirable 
  • A dynamic professional with a track record of excellent outcomes 
  • An outstanding teacher driven by the desire to improve life chances for young people through their teaching 
  • A colleague able to take the initiative and show a willingness to contribute to the faculty and wider school 
  • A colleague who endeavours to be on the cutting edge of mathematical pedagogy and is passionate about teaching for understanding 
  • A colleague who is friendly, confident and enthusiastic
