Whitehill is a large and vibrant primary academy that joined Trinity Multi Academy Trust in January 2024. We are committed to ensuring that Whitehill Community Academy is placed at the heart of its community whilst also relentlessly focused on delivering a world-class education to its pupils with a committed staff team.
Our aim is to ensure that every pupil at Whitehill from our youngest pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage through to our oldest pupils in Year 6 receive the very best teaching; an ambitious curriculum with significant enrichment and the support that they need to achieve their very best.
Our approach is centred on a culture of excellence with high expectations of both staff and pupils. The school rules of Ready, Respectful and Responsible are vital to our culture and run through everything that we do. The wellbeing and care of your children and our staff is our priority and we are focused on ensuring that Whitehill is a great place to be.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, passionate and inspirational primary teacher who has excellent subject knowledge and is able to contribute to continued improvements in pupil progress. This role would suit:
- Either an Early Career Teacher who is an excellent practitioner, or an experienced practitioner looking for a new challenge.
- Applications to all phases as we have the flexibility to offer the right candidate teaching in a year group that best matches their skills, experience and interests.
What can we offer you?
- A proven Behaviour for Learning (BfL) system that ensures a calm learning environment.
- Full support from a dedicated team of senior leaders and a network of administration professionals across the Trust.
- A commitment to your development.
- Part time working will be considered.
- Potential additional responsibility to be considered for an exceptional candidate which could include a TLR payment.
- A range of staff benefits, including free counselling service, Cycle to Work Scheme, Electric Car Scheme, reduced-cost health cover and access to the local government pension scheme.
We’re asking interested candidates to visit our school. Unlike most schools we are in session week commencing Monday 7 April and are open to people coming along to speak to our Principal, Chris Kimberley. Please arrange this by contacting Elizabeth Yates (eyates@whitehill.trinitymat.org). We look forward to hearing from you.
