We are looking to recruit a Playworker to join our caring, dedicated and enthusiastic staff team. The post is permanent with a start date upon completion of the DBS process.
Adel Primary School is a one form entry primary school with motivated and enthusiastic children, staff and governors.
Our school vision is ‘To enable every child to achieve success, develop skills for life and a thirst for learning which equips them for the challenges of the 21st century’.
The role of the Play worker involves working in our successful Out of School Club, working alongside the club managers to provide a safe, caring and happy environment where children can socialise and play. Responsibilities within the role will include assisting the children at snack time and supporting children’s access to fun and stimulating activities.
Monday – Thursday 2.30pm -5.45pm and Friday 2.30pm – 5pm. Total 15.5 hours
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, be able to work flexibly as part of our team and collaborate with colleagues to deliver an enriched experience for all our children, from Nursery to Year 6, who attend club.
The successful candidate will also be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care and will adhere to our rigorous safeguarding, child protection and health & safety policies and procedures.
