Hours: 15 hours term time only

Contract: Permanent subject to 6 month probationary period

Location: Yeadon Westfield Infant School After School Club

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated Play Worker in Charge to oversee our afterschool club, ensuring children receive the very best care in a safe, fun and engaging environment.  You will plan and deliver a variety of creative, and play based activities that inspire and entertain children aged 3-7 years.  You will take responsibility for the smooth running of the club, maintaining high standards of care and compliance, and fostering positive relationships with parents, children and staff.

If the successful applicant has children who attend Yeadon Westfield Infant School, they will be offered a free place at STARS After School Club on all working days. Applicants must be aged 18 years and over

Start date: 20th April 2026 or as soon as possible

Hours: 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Interview date:  Week beginning 16th March 2026

Qualifications required:

Essential: Level 3 Childcare or Play work qualification.
