Moor Allerton Hall is a caring and happy primary school with almost 500 pupils and a rich, diverse community of children and staff.
Our ambitious Headteacher is incredibly driven to lead the school into a new phase with the support of an exceptional Phase Leader in Key Stage One. As part of a wider SLT team, including a Deputy Headteacher and two Assistant Headteachers, you will work strategically to lead and support staff during a period of change as our school becomes two-form entry (from three).
The role is ideal for candidates who have previously had some leadership experience in a primary school (this can range from significant subject leadership to Key Stage leadership and whole school influence) - the right candidate will bring with them passion and enthusiasm as well as excellent communication and influencing skills.
The role will involve teaching a class within your phase, with leadership time out of class to join Senior Leaders in monitoring lessons, setting ambitious targets for children and being an exceptional role model to your team.
You will undertake performance management and pupil progress for your team, including the oversight of quality of intervention led by support staff. You will also oversee timetables and staffing to ensure school runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
A working knowledge of the Key Stage One curriculum would be beneficial and a track record of positive impact into a school would be most desirable.
