Payroll Support Worker (E6101) - Leeds Centre for Integrated Living

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Support Worker to join our experienced and committed staff team. Our Payroll Support Workers provide a secure, efficient, high quality and focused payroll service to assist our customers who employ their own support workers with all payroll requirements.

Your role will involve: 

  • Supporting customers with administering and processing payroll as required
  • Assisting individual customers to maintain their own payroll records
  • Supporting customers with all aspects of HMRC and auto-enrolment reporting
  • Ensuring that deadlines for completing tasks are met

You must have the following:

  • Excellent organisational, numerical and customer service skills 
  • Good knowledge of payroll processing, and HMRC legislation
  • Ability to work appropriately with people from a wide range of backgrounds
  • Good experience of using Microsoft Office including Word and Excel 
  • Ability to keep accurate manual and electronic records and have excellent time management skills
  • The ability to communicate appropriately with internal and external customers

You will have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar type role, however we would welcome applications from all candidates who can demonstrate that they have the necessary skills, knowledge and experience outlined in the Person Specification. 

12-month fixed term contract (extension beyond 12 months subject to funding)
