The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an Out of School Club Manager to lead and work in our thriving 45 place Before and After School Club. There may also be the opportunity for ad hoc Teaching assistant hours.
Breakfast Club hours 7.30am to 8.45am Monday to Friday
After School Club hours 3:00pm to 6:00pm Monday to Friday
(plus 1.5 hours admin)
We are looking for a committed OOSC Manager who:
- Will be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care and will adhere to our rigorous Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and procedures, our
Health and Safety Policy and procedures and will ensure that all OOSC staff do so too
- Has a full and relevant Level 3 or HLTA qualification
- Has experience of working with 4-11 year olds and is familiar with EYFS
- Has excellent organisational and IT skills
- Is able to lead and manage a team to deliver excellent childcare provision
- Has a good understanding of child development and positive behaviour strategies
- Is hardworking, resilient and professional, both orally and in writing
- Is a team player with excellent leadership skills with the drive and determination to develop staff and the OOSC itself
- Has excellent communication skills with good use of English to ensure the well being of children in our care
