The Governors wish to appoint Level 2 /Level 3 playworker to work in our Breakfast Club and After School Clubs.

Breakfast Club hours 7.30am to 8.45am Monday to Friday

After School Club hours 3.15pm to 5.45pm Monday to Friday 

Role can be split if only mornings/evenings required

We are looking for candidates who: 

  • Will be fully committed to safeguarding the children in our care
  • Will adhere to our rigorous safeguarding and child protection policy and procedure and 

health and safety policy and procedure at all times

  • Has a full and relevant Level 2 and or Level 3 qualification
  • Has experience of working with 4-11 year olds
  • Understands the varied needs of children and families
  • Is caring, patient, empathetic and resilient
  • Is a team player with the ability to work collaboratively and use own initiative to maintain a happy professional environment
  • Has excellent communication skills with sufficient understanding and use of English to ensure the well-being of the children
