Iveson Primary is an inclusive two – form entry primary school with nursery in the north west of the city. The school underwent a significant refurbishment in 2018/19 as part of its’ expansion to two form entry and now boasts two libraries, an Art and DT room, a nurture room, dining hall and separate gym as well as larger than average classrooms. The school sits in extensive grounds which incorporate a secret garden, allotment, playing field and three large playgrounds. In September 2023 it opened a brand new 16 place (8 in the first year) resourced provision for children with ASD. 

An excellent opportunity for an experienced or recently qualified Nursery Officer or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the EYFS Team in this ‘good and improving’ school (Ofsted May 2019).

Iveson Primary are looking to recruit a Nursery Officer. You will be based in the early years unit and be responsible for supporting the EYFS team in continuing to drive standards to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

You will have

• Current or recent experience of working as a Nursery Officer in an EYFS setting 
• An enthusiastic approach and the ability to work as part of a team
• Good organisation skills and the ability to manage your time effectively
• Resilience and a pro-active attitude
