Holy Rosary and St Anne’s Catholic Primary School is looking for a dedicated and reliable Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly school team.

The successful candidate will actively supervise pupils in the dining room, on the playground, and throughout the school premises. You will be a key figure in promoting the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all students and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Helping pupils while they eat, including cutting up food and ensuring tables are clean. Maintaining high standards for healthy eating and table manners.
  • Leading children in established playground games and activities
  • Implementing school discipline policies and recording or reporting inappropriate behaviour to relevant staff.
  • Reporting accidents to the Midday Supervisor and completing necessary forms.
  • Fully supporting our distinctive Catholic mission and ethos, ensuring both staff and pupils follow this example.

We are looking for a team player who can maintain a safe, calm, and happy approach to their work who has:

  • Previous experience working with or caring for children of a relevant age
  • A basic understanding of childcare, first aid, and health and safety.
  • The ability to relate well to both children and adults.
  • A strong commitment to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children
