Whitecote Primary School are looking for a great Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with some of our SEND children, primarily in Upper Key Stage 2. 

We want someone who enjoys working with all children, is a great communicator and is able to make a positive contribution to a team.  Someone who is flexible, is able to use their initiative and problem solve.  Someone who sees every day as an opportunity to learn something new and wants to develop themselves within the role to become an outstanding practitioner.

Core working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.40am to 3.05pm, 30.25 hours per week.  This is a temporary, term time only position.  Term time only percentage 84.69%.

In addition to your core working hours you will also be required to work 2 training days per year, plus 30 minutes per week for planning and preparation. In addition you will be paid 10 minutes per week and in lieu of this you will be required to stay for one hour per half term for twilight training.
