We are looking to appoint a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to work in our Before and After School Club provision, on a 1:1 basis with a child that has Down Syndrome.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and caring individual who is able to develop a supportive relationship with the child.  They should be fully committed to all aspects of safeguarding and willing to learn about the specific needs of the child you are working with as well as assisting with implementing strategies set out in the child’s risk assessment.

You will hold qualifications in numeracy/literacy skills or equivalent knowledge and experience, Team Teach training and a Relevant Childcare/SEND qualification e.g. L2/3 Childcare, Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
