Learning Support Assistant Vacancy A1/B1
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic learning support assistant who is passionate about providing the very best learning opportunities and life chances for our children with SEND or SEMH needs in order to ensure they ‘REACH’ their full potential.
The person appointed will be expected to:
- Have a positive mindset and a determination to ensure all children have the best life chances.
- Support a child or small group of children with SEND and SEMH needs to achieve and succeed.
- To implement key actions from pupil passports and other reports.
- To support the teacher in monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress/activities.
- Be committed to self- improvement and professional development.
- Build positive relationships with all staff, implementing our school ethos and behaviour policy.
- Be committed to developing children as independent learners and thinkers.
- Contribute to the drive for high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour for all.
- To be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
- To undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the post.
