The Head Teacher and Governors are seeking to appoint a Learning Mentor in our vibrant and successful school.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who:

• Has experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, in particular Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
• Has understanding of childhood development alongside experience of working in an educational setting.
• Can demonstrate empathy, communication, listening and interpersonal skills when dealing with children, colleagues and parents/carers.
• Has experience of working with support agencies to improve outcomes for children and families.
• Has experience of maintaining confidentiality and handling matters with sensitivity and discretion.
