Strawberry Fields Primary school governing body are seeking to employ an excellent Lead Playworker to work in our busy breakfast and After school club with an approved level 3 qualification.
We currently run well subscribed before and after school clubs and plan to develop our offer to parent and carers further by introducing holiday play schemes. We are looking for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about working with children and families who can support the Extended Services Manager in providing outstanding provision.

- Works in partnership with the Extended Services Manager to realise the vision for high quality out of school care for all children.
- Can lead and motivate their team and is highly organised.
- Can ensure equality and promote inclusivity.
- Can work in partnership with families to provide the best possible childcare service for our children.
- Has excellent communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively with parents and families.
- Always puts the child at the centre.
- Believes in inclusivity and equality for all children.
- Is committed to our school ethos of, ‘Learning together, building the future.’

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 7.00am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 6.00pm supervising the After School Club provision, and the successful candidate must be available to work an additional 19 days during some of the school holidays. This will require some flexibility.
