The Opportunity:

Due to the promotion of one of our existing middle leaders, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented teacher and aspirational middle and/or senior leader to join our KS2 team. This is an opportunity for a candidate looking to step up into school leadership, lead staff, and oversee a non-core curriculum and diversify their experience. 

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Teach a KS2 class.
  • Work alongside a team of Assistant Principals to lead and support your year group to improve outcomes for children.
  • Ensure safeguarding and personal development are pivotal to all you do.
  • Direct and support your team in operations, coaching, and monitoring the quality of education.

What Success Looks Like After Your First Year:

  • Embark on leadership development to reach your leadership aspirations.
  • Lead a non-core subject and support and develop teachers to make effective pedagogical choices.
  • Improved Outcomes for Children: You will have made a significant impact on the academic and personal development of the children you teach.
  • Effective Implementation of School Values: Your classroom will reflect the values and practices that make our school unique.
  • Deep Connection to the School: Your heart and mind will be firmly in the school, understanding why we do what we do and positively influencing others.
