Are you passionate about making a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people? Co-op Academy Leeds is seeking a committed and resilient Inclusion Support Worker (ISW) with Teaching Assistant responsibilities to join our offsite provision, supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs who are at risk of disengagement from mainstream education.
This is a unique opportunity to work intensively with a small cohort of vulnerable students, helping them to overcome barriers to learning, develop positive behaviours, and successfully reintegrate into mainstream education. If you are motivated by purpose, relationships and change, this role offers the opportunity to truly transform outcomes for young people who need it most
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering targeted interventions and mentoring to support behaviour, wellbeing, attendance and progress
- Providing consistent behaviour and emotional support throughout the school day and on external activities
- Supporting reintegration into mainstream lessons in collaboration with teaching staff
- Building strong, positive relationships with students, families, internal teams and external agencies
- Contributing to a calm, structured and rewarding culture that promotes high expectations and inclusion
