Inclusion Outreach Officer (E7493) - East Area Inclusion Partnership (EAIP) c/o Seacroft Grange Primary School

At the East AIP we are passionate about inclusion and are continually striving to understanding the needs of our vulnerable children and young people, the communities they live in, and of how disadvantage can impact on learning and life chances.

As an Inclusion Outreach Officer, you will be an advocate for children and young people, delivering targeted interventions through our outreach-based support programme to promote and support meaningful and sustainable plans for education and learning.

This role will include working in a cross-service setting and in a multi-agency context to promote inclusion.

You will contribute to the continual development of the East AIP’s outreach offer, to improve the quality of integrated planning around inclusion for identified children and young people from within the East AIP partnership of schools.

As such we are seeking candidates that can evidence;

  • Their passion and commitment to the ethos and values of the East AIP, to reduce suspensions and exclusion, and support improved attendance, attainment and achievement for the children and young people from our partnership schools.
  • Their expertise in the successful implementation of evidence-based interventions through specific work with children and young people, who can often present with a range of complex needs.
  • Their ability to work collaboratively within the context of a multi-disciplinary team approach

We promote diversity and wish to reflect the population of Leeds within the East AIP.

At the East AIP we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all our children and young people and expect our staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
