Inclusion Leader (Classroom Learning & Behaviour Support)
Band 6 (35 hours per week, TTO plus five days per annum) plus 1/2 per day Lunchtime Supervisor
We are seeking to appoint two inclusion Leaders at our Bradford site who not only has a deep understanding of the complex emotional, social, and mental health needs of secondary-aged learners, but who is also compassionate and sensitive to the personal challenges they face - someone who can support them in overcoming these barriers to achieve success.
Oastlers School is proud to be part of the Exceed Academies Trust, a growing family of fourteen schools, which includes ten primary schools, one all-through academy (from primary to secondary), two alternative provision academies (Primary and Secondary), and Oastlers – a specialist setting dedicated to supporting children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
The Inclusion Leader will:
- Fulfil professional responsibilities as a valued member of the school community
- Provide in-class support to enhance student learning
- Play a key role in implementing the school’s Behaviour Policy, helping learners remain engaged and able to access the curriculum
- Contribute to the school’s ongoing training and professional development programme
