Finance Assistant  

Hours: 35.5 per week, term time plus 10 days or all year round (part-time applications will also be considered)

Starting salary: £28,470.85 (actual starting salary for full-time, all year round)

At Pivot we believe children deserve better. In our academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages 2 – 5 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with some traumatic backgrounds. 

To support the growth of Pivot, we are expanding our central functions and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our team. 

As the Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth running of Pivot’s financial operations. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be required to support with all aspects of the purchase ledger, and to assist with other finance and administrative matters.

Pivot are able to offer a generous leave entitlement for staff of 33 days plus bank holidays and access to a number of benefits, including an early finish every Friday.

This role can be based at one of our Hubs in either Wakefield (WF2 7AN), Kirklees (HD2 1GN) or Leeds (LS14 6UF). Whilst based at one of these hubs, travel may be required to other sites as and when required.
