West Yorkshire Pathfinder Partnership (WYPP) is to be launched in June 2025 as a 12-month pilot, following successful programmes in other UK areas. Staying Put are proud to lead this partnership of 5 exceptional providers of domestic abuse services; Leeds Domestic Violence Service represented by Leeds Women’s Aid and Behind Closed Doors, WomenCentre, Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership and Wakefield Domestic Abuse Service. We are now looking to set up our team of dedicated and passionate Family Court Team Leader, IDVAs and Support Worker.
Family Court Team Leader
About the role
This role will oversee the day-to day running of the West Yorkshire Pathfinder Family Court IDVA Service, taking responsibility for the co-ordination, management and delivery of the service. Working as part of a strong multi-agency team across West Yorkshire, you will ensure an effective service is delivered to domestic abuse survivors and their children. This role will also involve the line management of the Family Court IDVAs as well as working collaboratively with external partners, including the courts, CAFCASS and local authorities. Based in Bradford, there will be a requirement to travel across West Yorkshire.
- Full time, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- £32,960 per annum.
- 12 month fixed-term contract initially. There is the possibility of extension, depending on successful outcomes of the pilot.
About you
We’re looking for someone organised, who is an excellent communicator and who can manage and motivate a team. If you have experience supporting vulnerable people in a domestic abuse arena, a strong understanding of safeguarding practices and are confident in presenting information in different settings, we want to hear from you. We are looking for someone with ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment and is able to influence and problem solve in a solution-focused way.
