We would like a brilliant EYFS teacher to come and work with us at Kirkstall Valley Primary School to cover a maternity leave. This post is a full-time maternity leave cover role, initially until December 2026. Kirkstall Valley is a very popular, vibrant, multi-cultural, inner city school in Burley, Leeds 4. At our most recent OFSTED inspection, our school was rated GOOD and OUTSTANDING for personal development which reflects our tagline of ‘the small school with the big heart’.
We are looking for an excellent teacher who:
- can use a wide range of creative teaching methods to motivate and inspire our children;

- has effective classroom management strategies;
- will work effectively as part of a team within a classroom and throughout school;
- is a highly motivated and skilled Early Years practitioner;
can contribute to the wider life of school.
