We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, impactful and highly motivated Curriculum Leader of Computing and ICT, to drive this important subject area of school. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a specialist team within school, developing the curriculum offer and pedagogy of the team to secure strong progress for our students, as well as furthering the development of e-safety, values, and employability skills amongst students.
In 2024, BTEC Creative Media results averaged a grade of a level 2 merit, placing the school in the top 20% of schools in England for Creative Media, and a subject progress index score of +0.61. The most recent Computer Science cohort, in 2023, averaged a grade 4+.
As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to work with other middle leaders across the school, Red Kite Alliance and Red Kite Learning Trust. You will also receive investment in your professional development, through our middle leader development programme, enabling you to develop excellence in your leadership and preparing you for future opportunities within our organisation.
