About the Count Me In Service

Count Me In (CMI) provides bespoke, 1:1 practical support to empower our members to achieve their personal goals and lead fulfilling lives. This role is central to maintaining our high standards of care, ensuring every person we support receives truly tailored, person-led support.

The Role

As Service Manager, you’ll join a close-knit team including three Service Managers and a Registered Manager. You will:

  • Deliver personalised, outcome-focused support, empowering members to achieve their goals.
  • Oversee a caseload of members – including assessments, support planning, regular reviews, and proactive recruitment of new members to the service.
  • Line-manage a team of Community Support Workers, providing leadership, guidance, and ensuring training and mentoring supports high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure all support meets the required standards, including legal, contractual, and organisational guidelines.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be organised and proactive, and have a strong ability to prioritise. A confident communicator, you’ll work closely with members, their families, colleagues, and other professionals.

On-Call Responsibility

As part of our out-of-hours on-call rota, you will offer phone support to staff and members:

  • Weekdays: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Weekends: 8:30am – 8:00pm
On-call shifts are approximately one week in every eight and are paid additionally. Hours may vary slightly based on the timing of support sessions.

You will bring a strong background in social care—ideally supporting Learning Disabled and Autistic adults, with a deep commitment to empowering people to live their best lives.

You’ll have direct experience of managing and developing staff and ideally have managed a dispersed workforce delivering care across multiple locations. Your ability to work confidently with rota systems, maintain accurate records, and deliver effective resource planning will be key to ensuring excellent, person-centred support.

You will be well-organised, proactive, and calm under pressure, with strong leadership qualities and a practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
