Job title and organisation: Community Activities Co-Ordinator - Neighbourhood Action
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Hours:  16 per week over 3 days (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Contract: Fixed Term for 1 year with possibility of extension
Location: Office base at 307 Lower Wortley Road, LS12 4QA and Community venues
Closing Date: Monday 9 March 2026 at 12 noon

Neighbourhood Action is a Neighbourhood Network Scheme providing support, advice and a range of services for older people in Farnley & New Farnley. We have a number of regular activities, including exercise groups, and a well established Memory Loss Group. 

We are seeking an energetic person with experience of: 

• Working with older people and those with memory loss issues
• Running and facilitating Groups
• Able to devise and prepare a weekly light lunch
• Plan Entertainers and Guest Speakers
• Support Volunteers
• Good Time Management & Networking skills
• Accurate & concise record keeping
