Salary: Grade A1 (SCP2) £24,480 pro-rata per annum.  Actual salary for 15 hours per week £9,924 per annum / 20 hours per week £13,232 per annum.  Equivalent to £12.69 per hour.  Casual contract paid at the stated hourly rate.  2026 Pay Award Pending.
Hours: 15 or 20 per week, all year round position

To enhance our team, we now have a part-time after-school cleaning assistant vacancy and are looking for candidates to undertake routine cleaning operations ensuring that the school is cleaned to a high standard throughout with minimum supervision.  You will be a team player who takes pride in their work and ideally has experience and knowledge of cleaning processes and materials and the associated Health & Safety requirements.   However, we will provide training and support for the right candidate.

Job Requirement Include But Not Limited To:

  • Daily classroom cleaning
  • Maintaining bathroom cleanliness
  • Mopping and vacuuming
  • Cleaning furniture, fixtures and fittings, emptying bins

  • Be able to manage time effectively to complete physical tasks to a high level
  • Be able to work with minimum supervision
  • Take pride in their work
