About us
All Saints is a wonderfully diverse and vibrant school, providing high quality education from nursery to Year 6; nearly 40 languages are spoken in our pupils’ homes, and the school is very popular in the local area, with most year-groups full and often over-subscribed. However, due to falling birth rates across Bradford, like many schools, All Saints is currently consulting on the possibility of reducing its PAN from 90 to 60 from the September 2024 reception intake. The high number of staff (around 27 teaching staff and 100 associate staff) reflects the larger than average size of the school.
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Teacher in Charge to oversee the development and day‑to‑day operation of our new 24‑place Resource Provision (RP) for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), specifically those with an Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Communication and Interaction needs.
This newly developed Specialist Provision will support children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working within the Engagement Model and progressing towards National Curriculum levels. The provision includes three dedicated classrooms, a reception space and an adapted outdoor learning area.
The Teacher in Charge will work inline with a MPS/UPS classroom teacher job description in addition to providing strong operational leadership, deliver high‑quality teaching, manage a team of staff, and ensure an ambitious, personalised curriculum offer. The role also involves working closely with the Inclusion Lead and Senior Leadership Team to implement the strategic vision for the RP, fostering an inclusive culture and ensuring excellent outcomes for pupils.
We are looking for applicants who:
- Have a good standard of English and Maths (GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent)
- Have extensive experience of supporting children with complex additional needs
- Commitment and ability to raise standards for all pupils
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to the needs of the school and specialist provision sector
Please note we do not accept CVs.
Visits to the school are encouraged. Please contact the school office to make an appointment (01274 415222).
