St Margaret’s C of E Primary School are excited to be able to appoint two inspirational, child-centered, enthusiastic and committed class teachers from September 2026 –
- KS1 teacher - one year fixed contract subject to pupil numbers
- KS2 teacher – one year maternity cover in the first instance
The successful candidates will:
- Have experience of teaching and having a positive impact within Key Stages, with a knowledge of the full primary curriculum
- Be a team player who is resilient and is committed to using their skills and expertise to ensure that all children’s needs in their class are met
- Understand the importance of building good relationships with all members of our school community and have a willingness to contribute to the broader life of our school community
- Be someone who can inspire, innovate and work effectively with others to problem solve
- Be enthusiastic, hardworking, resourceful and keen to ensure that the highest standards of pupil achievement, personal development, behaviour and well-being are attained
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and will work with parents and carers to achieve the best outcomes for their children
- Have a good understanding of children’s developmental needs, including those children with additional needs, and has a commitment to providing an inclusive education for all children
- Have a desire to develop further within their career and influence school development and subject leadership
- Be, or have aspirations to be, an outstanding practitioner
St Margaret’s C of E Primary School is a successful, inclusive two form entry primary school with innovative and creative approaches to learning. We are a vibrant and caring place to learn, providing opportunities for every child to succeed. Our school has a 14 place resource provision, the BASE, for children with complex communication needs. The children on roll of the BASE are also integrated into our mainstream classes and their teachers work together to offer an inclusive curriculum.
