You will have a proven history of delivering outstanding teaching and learning across the primary age range. You will be reflective and keen to develop your teaching practice.
Burley and Woodhead CE Primary School is based in Burley in Wharfedale, just outside Ilkley, with excellent train links to both Bradford and Leeds. The school is in a beautiful rural location, with a very well resourced and maintained premises and an extensive outdoor area.
We have excellent links with our supportive parents and a committed, highly skilled staff and governor team. Our pupils are happy and enthusiastic and they enjoy their time at school.
As one of 34 DfE English Hubs, we support schools across Bradford and North Yorkshire with phonics, early language and reading, reading fluency and writing. This is an exciting time to join our school with opportunities to become a Literacy Specialist for the right candidate.
