Contract: Full Time Temporary Class Teacher for one year

Start date: 1st September 2025

We are looking for a Class Teacher who has demonstrated the ability to facilitate progress by inspiring and engaging pupils to join us in delivering outstanding quality of education. 

Beechwood is a large and dynamic primary school, where our Teaching Team make a vital contribution to the wellbeing and progress of our pupils. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children with complex needs within a primary school setting.

We require a committed person who wants to play an active role in ensuring that SEND pupils receive provision of the highest quality.

We can offer training in methods of curriculum delivery of proven effectiveness, a team based approach to planning and a range of opportunities for continuing professional development, including collaboration with the four other primary schools in our Trust. 

We are a two form entry school and this post is a temporary post. A comprehensive induction programme will be provided for the successful applicant. The position will be in KS2.

As part of the interview process you will be asked to provide proof of identification in the form of a passport, birth/marriage certificate or driving licence. All candidates are asked to provide two referees, which the school will contact directly. All job offers are subject to a clear Enhanced DBS Disclosure. In terms of our Safer Recruitment practises we will also carry out online checks and all candidates will be required to complete a self disclosure form.
