A passion to provide high quality childcare, for children aged 24 months up to 5 years. The centre based here at Castleton Primary school is the hub of the Children’s Centre for Wortley.  The building itself provides early education and the day care aspect of the core offer. The children’s centre programme is based on the principle that providing integrated education, care, family support and health services are key factors in determining outcomes for children and their families.   

You will actively support each child’s individual ‘Learning Journey’ in partnership with parents and colleagues, plan and observe child focussed activities weekly and ensure both safeguarding and health and safety guidelines are followed at all times. 

The ideal candidate will have: 

* Level 3 qualification in Early Years 

* Good knowledge and understanding of the EYFS 

* Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures 

*EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL
