Catering Assistant Required
Grade 3 £12.45 per hour (Annual Salary £6,974)
12.5 hours per week (term time plus 5 cleaning days)
Monday to Friday 11:30am – 2pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our catering team.
We are looking for someone who can, under the direction/instruction of the Kitchen Manager, support the kitchen team in providing a high-quality food service which meets specified food hygiene standards.
You will:
• Communicate effectively with staff and pupils at the school to ensure a quality service is maintained.
• Support the cleanliness and hygiene standards within the food hall and seating area.
• Adhere to the requirements of Level 2 award in Food safety and Hygiene at all times (training will be provided).
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with domestic and catering standards.
• Be involved in food preparation on a relief basis.
You will be/ have:
• Good numeracy skills.
• A Level 2 Food Safety Award or the willingness to work towards this.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• An excellent role model for young people and our staff.
