Catering Assistant

32.5 hours per week (7:30am to 2.20pm Mon-Fri)

Term Time Only (plus 10 days)

Scale 1b - £11.59 per hour

As a trust we are excited to have been chosen by Leeds City Council as their approved sponsor to open a new secondary school to support the increasing population of the city. In September 2021 Trinity Academy Leeds opened its doors to 720 students from across the city and has already established a strong culture of excellence where all staff are united under the same shared mission, to enrich and strengthen the life choices and changes of the young people in east Leeds and beyond.

We are now looking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join the catering team.  Working under the Catering Manager you will deliver a high-quality catering service for students, staff and visitors to the Academy, whilst ensuring high standards for health, safety and food hygiene.

What we need?

• Basic numeracy and literacy
• Experience of working within a catering role (this does not need to have been in a paid role)
• Knowledge of basic cooking skills
• Knowledge of food preparation and food handling skills
• Team player
