New Vision Bradford is a partnership between the Bridge Project, Project 6 and Waythrough.  Under this umbrella, the partnership delivers an adult drug and alcohol service for the Bradford and Craven District, aiming to help people tackle and reduce risk taking behaviours through dedicated prevention, intervention, and support.

We are looking to recruit a full-time BRIC Worker (Building Recovery in the Community) who will deliver support and initiatives in the local areas to establish visible recovery and increase opportunities for service users to achieve sustainable outcomes.  You will play a key part in supporting individuals in the early stages of recovery, particularly those in their first three months of aftercare; and hold a small caseload.  Your work will focus on helping individuals maintain their recovery, reconnect with their communities, and build the confidence and skills needed to move forward.

This is a varied and rewarding role that combines one‑to‑one support, community engagement, partnership working, and practical assistance.  You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about supporting people in recovery and are able to motivate, encourage and empower others.

We are looking for someone who has an excellent understanding of drug and alcohol issues, has knowledge and experience of carrying out assessments, recovery planning and risk management plans, alongside experience of working with families and carers.  It is essential that you have a full driving licence, have access to a vehicle for work purposes and business insurance.

If you would like to make a real difference in people’s lives and help shape a recovery‑focused community across Bradford, we’d love to hear from you.

As well as a rewarding career, you’ll enjoy a benefits package designed to help you thrive:

  • Competitive salary that reflects your skills and contribution
  • 32 days of annual leave to rest, recharge, and enjoy life outside work
  • 4% employer pension contribution to support your long‑term financial security
  • A dedicated Learning & Development programme to help you grow and progress
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme offering confidential advice whenever you need it
  • Death‑in‑service benefit worth three times your salary for added peace of mind
  • Refer‑a‑friend bonus of £500 when you help us bring great people on board
  • Two hours of monthly wellbeing time to pause, connect, and reset with your team
  • A programme of mindfulness activities to boost focus on overall wellbeing

The Bridge Project is proud to be a Mindful Employer, championing a workplace where wellbeing truly matters.
