Behaviour Support Worker (E7705) - Rosebank Primary School

Are you looking for a new challenge?  We are looking for a Behaviour support Worker who is passionate about supporting children’s well-being across the primary age range. 

You will share our vision for high expectations of pupils' behaviour and learning, focusing on improving social, emotional and academic outcomes by working in partnership with families, carers and students as well as being part of a friendly and hard-working staff team.

You will:

  • Have experience of working with primary age children and experience of supporting families in challenging circumstances
  • Be able to support children with regulating their behaviour in a supportive manner and work with them to develop social and emotional well-being
  • Be expected to support pupils via mentoring, interventions and classroom support, ensuring pupils have every opportunity to be successful
  • Be able to build positive relationships with staff and parents and our school community
  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Have good knowledge of policies such as Keeping Children Safe in Education
  • Good knowledge of trauma informed approaches for working with children
  • Able to work as part of the inclusion and child protection team to create a safe and happy school environment for all children and families.
  • Be flexible and able to cope with change and prioritise tasks.
  • Be able to drive and carry out home visits and welfare checks.
  • Have experience of working with external agencies such as social care
